The standards behind the provision

Praxis is reviewing its policies and operational documents against current statutory guidance, government frameworks and expectations for non-school alternative provision. Approved public documents will be added to this page once their ownership, version, approval date and review date have been confirmed.

Before any pupil begins attending, Praxis will have the safeguarding, safer recruitment, attendance, health and safety, SEND, behaviour, complaints, data protection and operational procedures required for safe delivery.

Some documents will be publicly available. Others containing sensitive operational information will be shared securely with authorised commissioners as part of referral, commissioning and due-diligence processes.

ADDITIONAL OPERATIONAL DOCUMENTS

Praxis will also maintain the policies and procedures required for safe daily operation. These will include attendance and absence, SEND and inclusion, behaviour and relational practice, health and safety, first aid and medication, online safety, staff conduct, safer recruitment, allegations and low-level concerns, risk assessment, educational visits, emergency planning and data protection.
